(Paracetamol Dose for Fever in Adults in India) |
Fever ek common health condition hai jo viral infection, bacterial infection, flu ya seasonal change ki wajah se ho sakta hai. India me sabse zyada use hone wali fever medicine hai Paracetamol (PCM), jise acetaminophen bhi kaha jata hai.
Lekin sabse important sawal hota hai – Adults ke liye paracetamol ki sahi dose kitni hai? Agar dose galat ho jaye to liver damage ka risk ho sakta hai. Isliye is article me hum 2026 ke updated medical guidelines ke hisab se complete information dene wale hain.
Paracetamol is a widely used analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer) medicine hai. Yeh body me prostaglandin production ko kam karta hai jisse:
Fever kam hota hai
Headache relief milta hai
Body pain kam hota hai
Viral fever symptoms control hote hain
India me yeh 500mg aur 650mg tablet form me commonly available hai.
500 mg to 650 mg per dose
Har 4–6 ghante me li ja sakti hai (agar fever continue ho)
Maximum 4000 mg (4 grams) per day
Lekin safe practice ke liye doctors usually 3000 mg/day se zyada recommend nahi karte.
Agar aap 650 mg tablet le rahe hain:
650 mg × 4 times = 2600 mg per day (safe range)
Agar 500 mg tablet le rahe hain:
500 mg × 6 times = 3000 mg per day (upper safe range)
Paracetamol tab lena chahiye jab:
Fever 100°F (37.8°C) se zyada ho
Body ache severe ho
Headache ya viral symptoms ho
Mild fever me hamesha medicine zaroori nahi hoti.
Self medication maximum 3 din tak karein
Agar fever 3 din se zyada continue kare to doctor consult karein
Lower dose use karein
Doctor se consult zaroor karein
High risk of liver toxicity
Strictly limited dose lein
Same adult dose le sakte hain
Lekin chronic illness me doctor advice zaroori hai
Mild fever: 500 mg is sufficient
High fever (101–103°F): 650 mg effective
650 mg India me zyada prescribe hota hai kyunki fever fast control karta hai.
Normally safe hai jab recommended dose me li jaye. Overdose hone par:
Nausea
Vomiting
Liver damage
Jaundice
Severe abdominal pain
Emergency condition me immediately hospital visit karein.
Agar aap already yeh medicines le rahe hain to careful rahein:
Anti-TB drugs
Anti-epileptic drugs
Blood thinners
Alcohol
Empty stomach par lene me problem nahi hoti
Overlapping medicines check karein (cold syrups me bhi paracetamol hota hai)
Child dose aur adult dose alag hoti hai
Pregnancy me doctor advice lena zaroori hai
Maximum 3000–4000 mg per day se zyada nahi.
Har 6 ghante me, maximum 4 baar per day.
Haan, le sakte hain.
Long-term daily use is not recommended without a doctor's consultation.
100°F se upar hone par le sakte hain.
Immediately, doctor consult karein agar:
Fever 103°F se zyada ho
3 din se zyada fever continue ho
Severe vomiting ya dehydration ho
Rash ya breathing problem ho
Paracetamol fever ke liye ek safe aur effective medicine hai jab sahi dose me li jaye. Adults ke liye 500–650 mg har 4–6 ghante me safe mana jata hai, lekin maximum 4 gram per day limit cross nahi karni chahiye.
Self-medication sirf short duration ke liye karein. Agar symptoms severe ho ya long duration tak fever rahe to medical consultation zaroor karein.
