Role: Quality Manager (NABL & ISO/IEC 17025 Expert):-
As a Quality Manager, you will lead the laboratory’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017, and maintain accreditation requirements. The role demands strong leadership, deep technical knowledge, and the ability to independently handle NABL assessments.

Key Responsibilities:-
A Quality Manager at Avon Food Lab will oversee end-to-end quality operations. Key responsibilities include:
✔ Quality Management System (QMS) Oversight:
Manage the entire QMS as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017
Maintain SOPs, quality manuals, equipment records, and audit documents
Ensure traceability, accuracy, and documentation compliance
✔ NABL Accreditation & Integrated Assessments:
Independently face NABL Integrated Assessments and surveillance audits
Ensure timely submissions, corrective actions, and compliance
Coordinate with assessors and regulatory teams
✔ Internal Audits & Proficiency Testing:
Plan and execute internal audits
Lead PT/ILC participation as required under accreditation rules
Conduct CAPA analysis and root-cause investigations
✔ Team Training & Quality Awareness:
Train technical staff on documentation, quality procedures, and safety
Ensure laboratory teams follow all accreditation standards
✔ Continuous Improvement:
Drive quality improvement initiatives
Identify gaps and work on corrective & preventive actions
Ensure readiness for regulatory, client, and external audits

Required Qualifications & Experience:-
To be considered for this position, candidates must have applied now:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a NABL-accredited food testing laboratory
Demonstrated experience in NABL Integrated Assessments (mandatory)
Master’s degree in:
Food Technology
Microbiology
Chemistry
Or related life sciences
Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017
Excellent documentation and analytical abilities
Leadership or supervisory experience in laboratory quality systems
Candidates with hands-on experience in audits, PT/ILC programs, and CAPA management will be preferred.
