Key Responsibilities:-

As a Drug Safety Associate at Indegene, you will:

  • Verify case validity by identifying minimum data requirements.
  • Conduct duplicate searches and create new or follow-up cases.
  • Manage Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) in compliance with global PV regulations.
  • Identify Serious Adverse Events (SAEs) and special cases such as pregnancy, lack of efficacy, exposure, and product complaints.
  • Attach, review, and manage all supporting source documents.
  • Facilitate follow-ups to ensure complete and accurate data.
  • Perform medical coding of AEs, medical history, indications, and test results using MedDRA or relevant dictionaries.
  • Code suspect, co-suspect, and concomitant products as per client and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare precise and well-structured case narratives.

Qualifications & Skills Required:-

Must Have

  • Knowledge of pharmacovigilance and drug safety workflows.
  • Understanding of the drug research and development process.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and therapeutic areas.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on exposure to pharmacovigilance databases.
  • Internship or prior training in drug safety.
