Key Responsibilities:-
As a Drug Safety Associate at Indegene, you will:
- Verify case validity by identifying minimum data requirements.
- Conduct duplicate searches and create new or follow-up cases.
- Manage Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) in compliance with global PV regulations.
- Identify Serious Adverse Events (SAEs) and special cases such as pregnancy, lack of efficacy, exposure, and product complaints.
- Attach, review, and manage all supporting source documents.
- Facilitate follow-ups to ensure complete and accurate data.
- Perform medical coding of AEs, medical history, indications, and test results using MedDRA or relevant dictionaries.
- Code suspect, co-suspect, and concomitant products as per client and regulatory standards.
- Prepare precise and well-structured case narratives.
Qualifications & Skills Required:-
Must Have
- Knowledge of pharmacovigilance and drug safety workflows.
- Understanding of the drug research and development process.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and therapeutic areas.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
Nice to Have
- Hands-on exposure to pharmacovigilance databases.
- Internship or prior training in drug safety.
