Job Overview:-

The Assistant I PSS role at Fortrea is designed for fresh graduates and early professionals looking to build a rewarding career in drug safety monitoring, clinical research, and regulatory operations.

If you hold a degree in pharmacy, life sciences, nursing, or medical sciences, and have a keen eye for detail with an interest in pharmacovigilance operations, this position could be your perfect entry point.

Key Responsibilities:-

As an Assistant, I PSS at Fortrea, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing case intake and triage of safety information from clinical trials and post-marketing surveillance.
• Entering adverse event (AE) data into safety tracking databases.
• Writing patient narratives and coding adverse events using MedDRA.
• Conducting listedness assessment against product labels for marketed products.
• Generating queries and gathering missing safety information with medical staff.
• Submitting expedited SAE reports to clients, regulatory authorities, ethics committees, investigators, and vendors.
• Supporting periodic safety reporting (PSURs, DSURs) while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Assisting with database reconciliation and maintaining AE documentation.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams within Patient Safety Services (PSS).
• Following SOPs, Work Instructions, and quality management frameworks.

Required Qualifications & Skills:-

• Education:

  • Non-degree with 6–12 months of relevant safety experience, OR
  • B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Sc, M.Sc, Nursing, Life Sciences, or PharmD (0–6 months of experience acceptable).

• Experience (preferred but not mandatory):

  • Pharmacovigilance, clinical data management, regulatory affairs, or quality assurance.

• Skills:

  • H close attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
  • MS Office proficiency.
  • Ability to analyse numerical data.
  • Teamwork and adaptability.
