About the Role – Contracts Specialist I:-
As a Contracts Specialist I at Clario, you will play a key role in supporting the organization’s commercial contracting process. Your contributions will ensure that contracts, NDAs, work orders, and change orders are fully compliant, risk-assessed, and aligned with the company’s global business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:-
In this role, you will:
- Review, draft, and finalize NDAs, Work Orders, and Change Orders.
- Support the commercial contracting process by responding to inquiries and managing edits.
- Assess risks, advise leaders on deviations from standard contracts, and maintain compliance.
- Manage the full contract lifecycle including documentation, approvals, and CRM updates.
- Support negotiations for MSAs, DPAs, and SLAs when needed.
- Conduct peer reviews of junior team deliverables.
- Maintain contract records for quality control and activation.
- Assist Business Development teams with client contract queries.
- Participate in internal projects, audits, and manage DocuSign uploads.
Required Qualifications:-
To qualify for the Contracts Specialist I position at Clario, candidates should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in contracting.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial contracting, preferably in pharma or CRO industry.
- Strong understanding of complex, non-standard agreements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent negotiation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
