Job Overview – Executive R&D (Biotechnology):-
Position: Executive – R&D (Biotechnology)
Location: Baroda, Gujarat (Tandalja – R&D Center)
Department: R&D1 Regulatory Affairs / Biotech R&D
Grade: G12A
Experience Required: 1 to 5 Years
Educational Qualification: M.Sc / B.Pharm / M.Pharm (Biotechnology or related fields)
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in downstream processing (DSP), chromatography, filtration technologies, and bioprocess optimization.
Key Responsibilities:-
As an Executive in R&D Biotechnology, you will handle end-to-end downstream bioprocess development, focusing on biologics and protein-based products.
1. Downstream Process Development

Development and optimization of purification processes

Handling monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins

Process validation and tech-transfer support
2. Chromatography Operations
-
Operation of advanced chromatographic purification systems
-
Optimization of column packing, resin selection, and elution gradients
3. Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF)
-
Operation and maintenance of TFF systems
-
Membrane selection and scale-up
-
Filtration optimization and troubleshooting
4. Process & Analytical Data Review

Analyze purification output
-
Monitor yield, purity, and critical process parameters

Support process optimization trials
5. Scale-Up Activities

Preparing high-quality documentation, including:
